Heritage

Monastrell is an essential part of our land, our traditions and our way of living and enjoying. Our culture and cuisine go hand in hand with it and, when you get immersed in them, they will tell you about the grape variety that represents us, they will tell you about Monastrell.

Culture

Our Monastrell vines sink their roots in a millennial culture, through which great civilizations have passed, leaving their mark on our villages, towns, cities and landscapes. A border territory that marks the transition from the Meseta to the Mediterranean, where history is written thanks to a rich heritage of archaeological sites, castles, forts, churches and endless testimonies from the past. But where tradition is still very much alive, as shown by the countless local fiestas.

Cuisine

As a natural expression of the land, our cuisine is based on local produce in a unique balance between the sea, the market gardens and the mountains. A host of ingredients that reveal a multitude of flavors, always enhanced by our wines. Interpreted according to the character and cultural influences of each specific place: ranging from delicious rice dishes to tasty stews, or a really special dish called Gazpacho, served on a buckwheat galette. Without forgetting the tapas, that accompany our moments in the fresh air, bathed by the sun.
