Monastrell Spain returns to the United Kingdom. As part of our ongoing promotional efforts in this key strategic market, Monastrell España will once again be present at the renowned London Wine Fair on Tuesday, 20 May, with a brand-new masterclass:
“Monastrell Spain Masterclass – A Taste of Sunshine”, presented by the esteemed Master of Wine, Sarah Jane Evans.
The session will take place from 13:30pm to 14:15pm in the Education Zone of the exhibition venue, offering professionals from the wine trade a renewed opportunity to explore the distinctiveness and richness of this native grape variety from south-eastern Spain. The masterclass will include a tasting of eight exceptional wines, carefully selected from some of the most representative wineries belonging to the Denominations of Origin within the Association: DO Alicante, DO Almansa, DO Bullas, DO Jumilla, and DO Yecla.
Sarah Jane Evans MW will guide attendees through the vibrant character, oenological potential, and stylistic diversity that Monastrell can offer – from fresh, youthful reds to complex, aged wines, and even a remarkable sweet version.
